Tree Maintenance and Removal Companies wishing to become part of a list to be supplied to Willoughby Residents should contact the City of Willoughby Service Department at 440-953-4111 with your contact information and any other information, such as Liability Insurance, that you wish to provide. This is strictly voluntary. No one Company will be recommended over another and any work resulting from this list is strictly a private contract between Resident and Contractor. The list is being provided to residents upon request as a courtesy.
YARD WASTE COLLECTION
Yard waste pick up has begun and ends December 14th for the 2018 season. It is picked up the same day as your regular trash pickup.
Grass, leaves, twigs can be placed in biodegradable paper bags or in open garbage cans (no lids). Yard waste will not be collected if in plastic bags.
Branches are not to be more that 3” in diameter and no longer than 4 feet and should be bundled and tied.

Home inspections are performed on Thursdays and condominiums are inspected on Fridays. Someone has to be at the home while our techs are on site. This needs to be setup and paid for before the inspection can be scheduled. Payment can be charge, cash, or check (made out to The City of Willoughby). A fire inspection also needs to be scheduled with the Fire Department to check for working smoke detectors. Call the Fire Dept at 440-953-4344 to set up an appointment. Homes south of Vine are done between 8 a.m. – 11 a.m. on Thursdays
Homes north of Vine are done between 12 p.m. – 3 p.m. on Thursdays
Condominiums are done between 8 a.m. – 11 a.m. on Fridays
Commercial/Industrial are set up to be inspected on Fridays
Below are the charges that might pertain to the owner’s property:
Base Charge – $75.00 (include smoke detector inspection)
Sidewalk – $35.00
Downspouts – $40.00 (when downspouts are going into the ground)
Driveway Drain – $20.00
Yard Drain – $20.00
Sump Pump – $30.00 each
Sanitary Flush Test – $30.00 (for each stack required to be tested)
Water – $50.00 (required if premises do not include running water)
