The City of Willoughby has a 2% municipal income tax. It is a tax imposed on annual net profits earned in Willoughby and all salaries and compensations. (Payroll Tax)

All residents over age 18 are required to file a return whether one has income or not. Retired individuals may complete an Exemption Form and no further filing will be required . City tax returns are due on the same date in April as Federal Tax returns .

Representatives from R.I.T.A. will be at the Mentor Municipal Center, 8500 Civic Center Blvd. in Mentor, 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m., Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. No appointment necessary.
