Last Stop Willoughby – Aug 13th

The annual Last Stop Willoughby event is Saturday, August 13th. Event highlights:

10am – 2 pm – Kid Zone in Wes Point Park. Arts, crafts, face painting and more!

2pm – Parade starts at South High School. Marches down Euclid Ave through Downtown Willoughby.

10am – 4pm – Continuous streaming of the Twilight Zone episode, ” A Stop At Willoughby”, which was the inspiration for the Last Stop Willoughby event.

Chalkfest – Going on through the day. Professional artists will be chalking up buildings around town and you can vote for the “People’s Choice” at the library entrance. Kids will also be doing sidewalk chalk art, so come on over and get your hands all chalky!

Please note following parking restrictions and road closures:

PARKING RESTRICTIONS:

6 AM – 5 PM | No parking on River St and Erie Street in Downtown Willoughby

12 PM – 4 PM | No Parking on both sides of Euclid Ave (from Sharpe to Spaulding) and Erie Street in Downtown Willoughby

ROAD CLOSURES:

7:30 AM | River Street closed at Center Street with limited access for Market traffic.

1:30 PM | Shankland at Euclid Ave, Parkgate, and Shankland at Rt. 84 are closed; parade participants will be permitted to drive north on Shankland from Rt. 84.

1:45 PM | Euclid Ave side streets will be blocked along the parade route. No through traffic on Clark Ave, Church St and Skiff St. during the parade. An alternate route is Beidler/E. 361st to get to Euclid Ave.

2 PM | Parade starts from South HS into downtown. Police will be doing a moving street closure along the way.

There will be limited accessible parking on East and West Spaulding. The Outdoor Market is from 8am – 12pm in City Hall Parking Lot
