The Civil Service Commission consists of three members appointed by the Mayor with a concurrence of City Council. The Commission shall provide by rule for ascertainment of merit and fitness as the basis for appointment and promotions in the classified service of the municipality. The Commission typically meets every Wednesday at 8:00 a.m. in the second floor conference room in City Hall.
