The Osborne Park Pool is now in its “Post Season”.

PRIVATE Swim Lessons – held at Osborne Park Only. Group lessons are held at Euclid Ave Pool Only.

Fee: $95 for residents, $105 for non-residents
Lessons for those who need individual attention, ages 3 and up. Student and instructor schedule (5) 30-minute sessions. Late arrivals will be able to participate in the remainder of the scheduled time. Each set of lessons will expire August 8, 2021.  Please call Jim Clark at 953-4200 for further instruction. If you must cancel a lesson, please do so 24 hours in advance to avoid losing the lesson.

Willoughby Stingers – Swim Team

The Willoughby Stingers Swim Team is a competitive summer swim team that competes in the Suburban Swim League (SSL).  While it is a competitive team, at its core, it is a recreational team designed to promote the sport of swimming, sportsmanship and fun for swimmers of all levels.  Children between the ages of 6 and 18 (as of June 1) are eligible to join.  Children 6-8 years of age must be able to swim at least one length of the pool in one of the four competitive strokes (front crawl, backstroke, breaststroke or butterfly) unassisted and children 9-18 years of age must be able to swim a minimum of two lengths of the pool in the aforementioned competitive strokes unassisted.  (Unassisted = no flotation devices)

There will be no in person registration this year.  To register please visit  Credit/debit card is the only acceptable form of payment.

There will be a parent meeting @ the Willoughby Senior Center (36939 Ridge Rd) May 27 @ 6:30 pm.  One member of each family is strongly encouraged to attend so we can discuss pandemic protocols.  To ensure social distancing please limit attendance to one person per family.

Pool Guidelines and Notes

  • Visitors are responsible for doing a self-assessment while at home before coming to the pool. Please stay home if you do not feel well.
  • Please practice social distancing while in the facility.
  • Showers and changing facilities are closed; restrooms are open.
  • Please use the hand sanitizing stations often or wash your hands.
  • Those with pool passes or value cards will be able to enter the pool early (12pm at Osborne and 12:30 pm at Euclid Ave); those paying the daily admission will be able to enter starting at 1:00 pm.
  • Other regulations may be established as deemed necessary or these rules can be modified at any time. Your cooperation is appreciated.

Inclement Weather Policy

Pools will be closed if the outside temperature is 65 degrees or lower. Pools may open later in the day if the weather improves. Updates posted on the Willoughby Parks and Recreation Facebook Page. Pools will also close if attendance is under 15 swimmers for more than two hours.
