2026 Camp Dates: June 1 – August 7 from 9 am – 3 pm | Open to ages 6-13
- Before Care available starting 7am / After Care available until 5:30pm (extra fees apply)
Registration set to open:
- March 16, 2026 for Willoughby Residents
- March 23, 2026 for Non Residents
Camp Fees (pricing per week)
- Willoughby Residents: $136 per week | $115 per week (Early Bird Pricing Through May 17)
- Non Willoughby Residents: $171 per week | $150 per week (Early Bird Pricing Through May 17)
***To receive the resident rate, you must supply us with your proof of residency (Ex. copy of a utility bill)**
Before/After Care and Transportation:
- Before Care: 7am-8:55am | Pricing $12 per week
- After Care: 3:00 – 5:30pm | Pricing $20 per week
- Before and After Care | Pricing $30 per week
- Transportation is available for Willoughby Residents from designated locations | Pricing $20 per week
We are now holding Summer Day Camp at 2 park locations.
Camps will be set up by age/grade (Grades listed are for the 2026-27 school year)

- East: geared toward campers ages 6-7 (intended for children entering grades 1-2)
- West: geared toward campers ages 8-9 (intended for children entering grades 3-4)
- Rotary: geared toward campers ages 10-12 (intended for children entering grades 5+)

- Pool Pavilion: geared toward campers ages 6-13
- campers will be split into age groups for daily activities.

What additional information should I know?
- Before Care: 7 am – 8:55 am and will be held at the camp location your child is attending.
- After Care: 3:00 pm-5:30 pm and will be held at the camp location your child is attending.
- Camp Hours: 9 am – 3 pm. Campers drop-off is between 8:55-9:10 am. Campers cannot be dropped off before 8:55 AM.
- Dismissal will begin at 3 PM, individuals picking up MUST be listed on the camp transportation form. Individuals not registered for after-care MUST be picked up NO LATER than 3:05 pm to avoid additional charges.
- Campers must bring a packed lunch.
- Backpacks are allowed and will be the responsibility of the camper.
- All campers will have the opportunity to swim at the city’s outdoor pool.
- Cell phones are NOT permitted to be used at camp. Campers should keep them in a bag.
- Electronics/tablets/etc are NOT permitted at camp.

How To Register:
- Online Registration: This is a quick and easy way for you to sign up for camp. HOWEVER, this method will require you to pay in full for all camp weeks at the time of registration.
- Looking to register for camp and enroll in our payment plan?
- Campers who are registering for 3 or more weeks are eligible to go on a payment plan. Dates for when payments are due are outlined on the camp forms.
- We STRONGLY encourage that you utilize the online registration for the first week of camp your child is attending. This will require you to complete payment for this week and meet our requirement of paying for the first week of camp to complete your registration. You can then email, drop off or stop into our office with a completed camp form.

- Payment for the 1st week of camp your child is registering for is due to complete the registration.
*Payment can be completed over the phone by calling 440.953.4200
*Payment plans are available when signing up for 3 or more weeks of camp.

Mini Munchkin (ages 4+) 2026
Intended for children ages 4 to 6 | Campers must be 4 yrs old by June 01, 2026.

Let your little one explore, play, and create at our Mini Munchkin Summer Camp! Designed for kids ages 4 and up, this fun-filled 2-day camp is packed with engaging activities, games, crafts, and outdoor adventures. It’s the perfect way for young campers to socialize, learn, and have a blast in a safe and nurturing environment!
Our Mini Munchkin Camp offers a fun, safe, and engaging camp experience designed just for young adventurers ages 4+ (must be 4 years old by June 1) Each week, campers will explore exciting themes through creative arts & crafts, interactive activities, and outdoor play. Special adventures include visits to the Willoughby Fire Department, local MetroPark parks, and a field trip to the Cleveland Zoo!
Camp runs Tuesdays and Thursdays, blending indoor activities at our Willoughby Senior Center (36939 Ridge Rd, Willoughby, OH 44094) and Thursday’s outdoors at the Euclid Ave. Pavilion.
Camp Drop-Off: 9:00 AM / Pick-Up: 11:30 AM
Session 1: Tuesdays & Thursdays June 8 – July 2 (4wks)
Session 2: Tuesdays & Thursdays July 6 – July 30 (4wks)
Weekly themes will be used to guide arts n crafts projects and fun camp activities.

Junior Camp Counselor Program
Willoughby Parks & Recreation – Summer Day Camp Program
The Willoughby Parks & Recreation Summer Day Camp is known for its outstanding quality and service, thanks to a wide variety of activities and a dedicated, skilled team. The Junior Camp Counselor Program offers teens who are no longer eligible to attend day camp a meaningful opportunity to gain hands-on experience, build important life and job skills, and serve their community.
Purpose:
To provide teens with the chance to develop workplace readiness, leadership skills, and a strong work ethic while participating in fun, recreational camp activities. Junior Counselors assist with the daily operations of Summer Day Camp and help create a safe, engaging environment for all participants. In addition to our day camp, these individuals will asist with our Mini Munchkin Camp on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Key Responsibilities:
-Support counselors with planning and leading daily camp activities.
-Help with organizing supplies, supervising campers, and guiding activities.
-Contribute to maintaining clean and safe camp facilities by picking up equipment, reporting any issues, and keeping spaces tidy.
-Serve as a positive role model for campers at all times.
Requirements:
Must be 14 years old by June 1, 2026.
Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and enjoy working with children.
Program Details: Dates: June 1 – August 7 2026
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
(No camp on June 19 and July 3)
Program Fee: $350 (Covers uniforms, field trips, and training; due before camp begins)
