Holiday Lighting Celebration

Get into the holiday spirit and join us in Downtown Willoughby for the annual Holiday Lighting Celebration on Thursday, December 4th at 7 pm. Before we turn on the holiday lights, enjoy the sounds of the season from local entertainment!
 
6:30 pm (Before ceremony entertainment):
Andrews Osborne Academy Choir
South High Concert Bands
 
7 pm – Ceremony Starts:
Edison Elementary 3rd and 4th Graders
South High Choir
Fine Arts Association
Savelli Dancers
Burning River Band
 
We will LIGHT UP DTW following the last performance at approximately 7:35 pm.
 
Additional events on Thursday evening include a Live Nativity, sponsored by Willoughby United Methodist Church from 6 pm – 8 pm.
 
The annual Evening Lions Holiday Auction downstairs of City Hall to benefit the Lions Eye Care Program and community service projects starting at 7:45 pm (after the lights).
 
Santa and Mrs. Claus will also be on stage after the lighting to greet the children. A line will form in front of the clock, on the south side of the stage.
 
*Please note that the lights are not turned on at 7pm, but after all of the entertainment. The estimated time for lights is between 7:30-7:35 pm, but it varies slightly each year. Visits with Santa to follow.

SATURDAY | DECEMBER 6th

11 am: Miracle on Erie St 5K – Jog into the holidays with this festive run/walk through the streets of Willoughby. Register Here

SANTA HOUSE: 

Thursdays | December 11th, 18th from 5 pm – 8 pm
Fridays | December 5th, 12th and 19th from 5 pm – 8 pm
Saturdays | December 6th, 13th and 20th from 2 pm – 5 pm 
Sundays | December 7th, 14th and 21st from 2 pm – 5 pm.
Non-perishable food items will be collected during these hours to be donated to the McKinley Outreach Center
