Ozzy the Snake – A Parks and Rec Project!
Feeling artsy? Up for some friendly competition?! Then join us in creating Ozzy the Snake!
The National Trail Parks & Recreation District is challenging seven communities in Ohio to create a snake using painted rocks from August 1st-3st. Our snake, Ozzy, is located at Osborne Park by the North Pavilion and starts at the 1.0 mile marker. You are welcome to take a blank rock from our pile or paint one of your own and add it to the end of Ozzy once painted.
Snakes will be judged in 3 categories: length, number of rocks and public voting. For the public voting portion, a Facebook post will be created with a photo of all the snakes and the participating agencies as collaborators, which will allow you to vote for Ozzy.
This is a project that anyone can do, and we encourage you participate.
