Willoughby To Host Cleveland Pops for America 250
The City of Willoughby invites residents and visitors to celebrate Independence Day on Saturday, July 4, with a patriotic community celebration featuring the Cleveland Pops Orchestra, family activities, and a fireworks finale in honor of America’s 250th anniversary.
The event will take place on the campuses of Andrews Osborne Academy and the Fine Arts Association, offering a welcoming setting for an evening of music, celebration, and community pride.
Festivities will begin at 6:00 pm with a DJ, setting the tone for a fun and energetic evening. Guests can enjoy family-friendly games and activities, a variety of food trucks, and plenty of space to relax and celebrate with friends and neighbors. At 7:00 pm, enjoy a special live performance by vocalist Angie Caldarone, a Fine Arts Association student, as part of the celebration. At 8:00 pm, the Cleveland Pops Orchestra will take the stage, delivering a patriotic concert worthy of this historic national milestone.
Since its founding in 1993, the Cleveland Pops Orchestra has brought inspiring, high-energy symphonic pops music to communities throughout Northeast Ohio. Featuring a 65-piece orchestra and a repertoire that includes patriotic marches, Broadway, and American classics, the Pops is a fitting centerpiece for celebrating Independence Day and America’s 250th anniversary.
The celebration will conclude with the annual fireworks display at approximately 9:45 pm following the concert, lighting up the sky as Willoughby joins communities across the country in commemorating 250 years of American independence.
The event is free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs.
