Wireless Emergency Notification System

Winter is on it’s way! Lake County Ohio’s Wireless Emergency Notification System (WENS) helps keep residents informed during emergencies and other events in our county.

This system provides subscribers the option to receive notifications via text, email, and/or voice*, related to weather events, emergencies, road closures, and more. Lake County residents can also sign up to receive community specific alerts. Sign up takes less than 60 seconds and can help keep you and your family safe during an emergency.

When signing up, be sure to click “City of Willoughby” under the specific community Emergency Alerts section.

Users are advised that this system is made available to Lake County residents and businesses as a supplement, and not a replacement for, existing public safety warning and information notification systems such as television and radio. Click here for complete terms and conditions.

Lake County’s WENS is managed by Inspiron Logistics. If you have questions regarding this system, please contact the Lake County Emergency Management Agency at ema@lakecountyohio.gov or (440) 350-5499.
