As we kick off summer in Willoughby, there’s no shortage of ways to enjoy the season right here in our own backyard!
One of Willoughby’s most beloved traditions starts this month! Our Summer Concert Series kicks off in June with an exciting lineup of live music that brings residents and visitors to Downtown Willoughby and Osborne Park. With a wide range of genres – from rock and country to polka and tribute bands, there’s something for everyone. Be sure to bring your lawn chairs or blankets, grab dinner from one of our amazing Downtown Willoughby restaurants or the food trucks at Osborne Park and enjoy the evening! The concert lineup can be found on the city’s website and Facebook page. Please note that the Downtown Willoughby concerts have a new time this year – 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm. We are planning a “Beach Party” at one of our Osborne Park concerts, so stay tuned for the details.
June also brings the annual Downtown Willoughby Cruise-In on Saturday, June 21st. Now in its 29th year, the event is expected to feature 500–600 cars lining Erie Street from 4 pm to 10 pm. It’s a perfect evening of food, music, and nostalgia for car lovers and families.
Osborne Pool is open for the season! The pool is a staple for families and kids looking to beat the heat and enjoy summer fun close to home. Check the City of Willoughby website for hours of operation, swim lesson registration, and season pass details.
Thank you to everyone who participated in the Euclid Avenue Pool Site Survey. Your feedback is essential as we look ahead to the future of this important space. The city is currently reviewing responses, and the consultant who developed the original comprehensive site plan will update it to reflect the community’s input. This update will help determine estimated costs and guide us through the next steps. We appreciate your continued interest and patience as this process moves forward.
Stay connected! We’re excited to announce the launch of our Willoughby City Newsletter! This is a new way for residents to stay informed about city news, events, and updates. You can read the first edition on our website and sign up to have future updates delivered directly to your email inbox. Please sign up and stay up to date on important Willoughby happenings.
We hope you have a fun, safe, and enjoyable summer!
